The Pakistani Rupee on Friday gained 1 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading. It closed at Rs 278.05, slightly up from the previous day’s Rs 278.06. Meanwhile, the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) reported the dollar’s buying and selling rates at Rs 279.00 and Rs 279.15 in the open market.
Furthermore, the Euro slipped against the Rupee. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) noted a Rs 0.04 drop, ending at Rs 317.89 compared to the prior day’s Rs 317.93. However, the Japanese Yen rose by 1 paisa, closing at Rs 1.72. On the other hand, the British Pound fell by Rs 0.11, settling at Rs 372.95 from Rs 373.06 the day before.
In addition, the Emirati Dirham remained unchanged at Rs 75.71. Consequently, the Saudi Riyal climbed 1 paisa, reaching Rs 74.06. These minor fluctuations reflect ongoing market adjustments in Pakistan’s foreign exchange landscape.
